Since 2000, Banlaw Africa has quickly become one of the leading contract mining, civil engineering and construction companies in sub-Saharan Africa. For us, “The Benchmark in African Mining and Construction,” means delivering sustainable projects on time and within budget to create value for your business. How do we do this?

Because we have experience with a wide variety of minerals. Gold, iron ore, zinc and manganese projects have been completed across Ghana, Burkina Faso, DRC, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone and Liberia. We provide unrivalled insight into sub-Saharan logistics, operating procedures, mining codes, and business practices, to both mining companies and EPCMs.

Because we take pride in our multi-disciplinary service offering. We provide contract mining, earthworks, infrastructure, and civil works for clients. We work closely with EPCMs in the management of large, small and medium-scale mine construction projects. We maintain mine infrastructure, we work with mineral processing, and we undertake geotechnical and geodetic services, among other things.

Because we are supporting our customers in new frontiers. Our regional administration office is in Accra, Ghana and we have operational offices in Tarkwa, Ghana; in Burkina Faso’s capital Ouagadougou; in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire; and in Monrovia, Liberia - arguably one of Africa’s most exciting new mining destinations.

Because we are experienced in Sub-Saharan business environment. During close to 15 years of operation, we have gained invaluable insight into sub-Saharan logistics, operating procedures, mining codes, human resources and community relations. We also have a large in-house fleet of earthmoving and civil works equipment.

Because we believe in our team. Richard Levack, Managing Director, leads an experienced team of expats and African nationals, to provide safe, high-quality, and socially responsible service to our clients.
